Urgent Road Closure - Various Roads - Faversham, Sheldwich, Badlesmere & Challock - 9th March 2026 (Swale) & (Ashford)

It will be necessary to close Ashford Road, Faversham, Ashford Road, Sheldwich, Ashford Road, Badlesmere, Faversham Road & North of Buck Street, Challock from 9th March 2026 for up to 3 nights.

The road will be closed between the junctions of M2 London Bound Exit Slip and Challock Crossroads between the hours of 22:00 - 05:00.

The alternative route is via: A251 Ashford Road, A2 Canterbury Road, London Road, A2 M2 J7 Roundabout, Brenley Corner, A2 From M2 J7 Roundabout To J A2050 Harbledown Se, Boughton Bypass, Dover Road, Harbledown Slip Eastbound Off, Upper Harbledown Slip, A2 From J A2050 Harbledown To J A28 Se, A2 J A2050 Harbledown Leave Se, Harbledown Slip Westbound On, Harbledown Bypass, Palmars Cross Hill, Cycle Track From Queens Avenue To Summer Hill, London Road Roundabout, Rheims Way, St Peters Roundabout, Wincheap Green, Wincheap, Thanington Road, Maidstone Road, The Street and Faversham Road.

This is to enable carriageway repairs to be carried out by Kent County Council.
